We are an independent specialist training provider which allows us the flexibility that is needed to hand tailor our courses to your requirements. Our aim is to provide a quality service second to none in all aspects of health and safety and plant equipment training. We are particularly experienced in the fields of materials handling and construction equipment training, and we can offer a wide range of training courses in these areas.  Our instructors and assessors are fully trained and accredited and are extremely experienced in their specialist fields. They are constantly re-trained and are internally and externally assessed to maintain the highest standards. We can provide on site training throughout the UK and in particular we offer full regional coverage in North East England.

Additionally we also offer training and NVQ’s in Road Passenger Vehicle Driving (RPVD) which is aimed predominantly at hackney carriage; mini bus and private hire taxi operators.

Our training centre in North Shields, North Tyneside, is equipped with a range of modern equipment and training aids and has three separate training areas, each used for specific types of training. This enables us to deliver bespoke training programs to customers in the comfort of our training centre away from any work based interference or pressures.

Our courses can usually be tailored to your specific requirements within the framework of the awarding bodies’ criteria and existing legislation. All successful candidates are awarded with the appropriate card or certification relevant to the particular awarding body their course was accredited to. Employers should be aware that no single card or certification scheme is mandatory by law, however adequate and sufficient training is.

HSW Act 1974 Section 2(c) states that - Every employer shall provide adequate training.

Approved Code of Practice 1999

ACoP 1999 Rider Operated lift trucks (L117) - operator training states that - Employers must ensure all operators they employ are adequately trained.

Provision and Use of Work Equipment 1998

Regulations 1998 states that - Every employer shall give adequate training to all employees who use work equipment or who supervises/manages the use of work equipment.
