UK Construction Week 2015
The UK’s largest construction trade show is set to take place from the 6th to the 8th October, with 9 different shows under one roof at the NEC in Birmingham.
The shows are expecting more than 55,000 visitors and construction professionals, and over 600 exhibitors showcasing more than 10,000 products and services over the three days.
Not only will the show feature inspiring technology, innovations and products that could help to boost your business, but there will also be more than 250 hours of debates, invaluable business advice and educational workshops and seminars where you can gain CPD points to boost your personal development too.
The Timber Expo
Featuring the latest products, innovations and developments across the timber sector and from an increasingly diverse international market, the Timber Expo will be hosting a number of exciting free seminars, including Why is Social Housing Leading the way in High Rise Timber? and Top Tips for Specifying a Great Timber Building.
Smart Buildings
An entire show dedicated to both commercial and domestic integrated building technology, the Smart Buildings show will be overflowing with leading industry brand and innovative technology and, CPD points for those attending the free seminars on everything from building materials of the future to building smarter cities.
Build Show
The Build Show will be looking into all kinds of key issues affecting the industry today, including policy issues, and personal development. It will also be featuring The Site Zone, which is a fully interactive area for demos and workshops, as well as a careers advice centre and a specialised area for Civil Engineering.
HVAC
HVAC 2015 is the only UK show entirely focussed on heating, ventilation and air-conditioning, and will combine a HVAC hub with an advice centre offering visitors the chance to network and consult with exhibitors and industry peers.
ENERGY
This year’s Energy Show is aimed at energy specialists, civil engineers, architects and any other industry professionals that provide or install energy solutions. Covering a whole host of topics in decicated free seminars, including solar energy, sustainable transport and the future of renewables, the show will offer expert insight into the latest industry innovations from an international market.
Plant & Machinery

And once the show trade show is over, the UK’s most popular contemporary home show – Grand Designs Live – takes over, from the 8th to the 11th October. Hosted by Channel 4’s Kevin McCloud, this aspect of the show is open to the public, to provide inspiration and design ideas to homeowners and homebuilders alike.
