Candidates will participate in theory lessons, practical demonstrations and exercises all of which are highlighted by the use of power point and DVDs in the following fields;
- Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
- Construction ( Health, Safety and Welfare ) Regulations
- Management of Health and safety at Work Regulations
- Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations
- Personal Protective Equipment Regulations
- Working at Height Regulations
- Manual Handling Operations Regulations
- Practical exercises
Accreditation/Certification
Accreditation upon completion; Successful learners will receive an operator’s ID card and certificate from the National Plant Operators Registration Scheme (NPORS) and their details will be registered onto the NPORS UK database.
